It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of our beloved Brother, Dr. Carl Bender (‘69), on March 7, 2023…our thoughts & prayers are with Carl’s family & friends & may his memory forever be a blessing 🙏. ..B’nai Chaim…Brothers For Life
Tom Decker died November 28th. If you knew Tom and have memories of good times in college, chances are that Tom is in the picture. Maybe it’s a road trip to Decker’s Bakery in O Town. Or his living room wall festooned with empty Budweiser cans. For me it was a conversation in the student center that triggered a spontaneous road trip with Tom to explore ex-patriot opportunities in Montreal. Tom Decker stories from back then usually end in laughter. Yet “Otto” became a beloved community leader of devout faith, dedicated to helping others. Let his memory be a blessing.
Tom’s family and friends are invited to Celebrate Tom’s Life on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Renew Church – Hancock, 53 Elmwood Road, Hancock, NH 03449 (603-525-8151). Calling hours will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and his funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.

Rick, thanks for the kind words. Also, thanks for using the message feature of the website. You’re the first. I had hoped (still do) that KB alum would use Messages to communicate, trash talk, etc.
Mike, the website is amazing. Far exceeded my expectations. Congratulations to you and Roy and Al and the entire committee and to the contributors for all their efforts and vision.

Thanks to Rick Shirkey, two “new” editions of the Kappa Chronicle, dated 9/23/67 and Spring ’69 have been added to the website. Take a look and enjoy!
